EOS – the European Optical Society
Each SIOF member is also EOS member. EOS member discounts and benefits are applied to all SIOF members.
SCI - Società Chimica Italiana
The Agreement has as its main objective the improvement of the exchange of knowledge and experiences among the Parties, aimed at promoting research and development applied to various sensing technologies. To achieve these objectives, the Parties intend to launch joint initiatives such as seminars, conferences, workshops, study days, and training courses.
SIF - Società Italiana di Fisica
Reduced membership fee: 30€ (instead of 45€)

OPTICA – formerly OSA
- membership discount; $30 USD discount on 1-year OPTICA Individual dues
- SIOF members will be able to attend Optica meetings at OPTICA member rates. Please note that these privileges do not apply to Optica’s financially co-sponsored meetings such as CLEO or OFC
SPIE – the International Society of Optics and Photonics
- SPIE will provide 50% registration discount to six (6) SIOF members at SPIE symposia annually;
- SPIE will provide $1,000 USD annually toward a joint SIOF/SPIE student prize;
- 20% discount on selected SPIE Press titles
