The Italian Society of Optics and Photonics (SIOF) is pleased to announce the GS 2025 – Interdivisional Sensors Group Workshop, which will be held from December 15 to 17, 2025, in Bologna, at the CNR Research Area (Via Piero Gobetti, 101).
The workshop will address highly topical and interesting issues in the field of sensors and biosensors, with a focus on health, food safety, and environmental monitoring. Key topics include:
- Electrochemical, optical, gravimetric, and optoelectronic sensors and biosensors;
- New technologies for wearable and integrated systems;
- Sensors and biosensors for clinical diagnostics and point-of-care;
- Sensors and biosensors for food safety and authenticity;
- Sensors for environmental monitoring and forensics;
- Sensors for forensics and for critical area surveillance (security).
The conference will span three days, beginning on the afternoon of Monday, December 15th and concluding on the morning of Wednesday, December 17th. It will be a unique opportunity for scientific updates, networking, and discussions on emerging technologies.
